A firm favourite with our guests, the Drawing Room is a gorgeously sunny place with rich fabric covered sofas and a roaring fire. This room is comfortable and informal and offers the perfect place to relax with friends or read the papers. Morning coffee and afternoon tea can be served in this room. Chess, cards, board games and some fascinating books are available for guests use.
Just off the entrance hall, the library is a lovely warm room, perfect for a relaxed lunch or afternoon tea by the fire or the place to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or a late night dram.
With views across the spreading lawns of the estate, an open fire and gentle tones of blue that match the Ker family tartan carpet, the Dining Room provides a delightful spot for a leisurely breakfast or a quiet and relaxing dinner.
The fine Victorian Conservatory can seat up to 56 guests for a meal or wedding. Light and airy and full of lovely flowering plants, the Conservatory has French windows opening onto the gardens.
Seating up to 14, the Roxburghe Room can be used for private dining or can be set up as a meeting room.
With views across the lawn, the traditional Victorian Terrace is ideal for wedding photography or summer evening drinks.
The original lawns of the house provide a secluded and beautiful location for the hotel. There is plenty of space for a wedding marquee or outdoor activities.
The lake is stocked with trout and offers the perfect place for some fly fishing instruction with our resident Ghillie.
